"Breast screening recall"

About: Ipswich Hospital / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

I had a routine breast scan and instead of the expected 'all is normal' response, I was asked to attend again for a more involved screening. Needless to say, this caused me and my husband some alarm but thankfully the appointment was three days later so we didn't to wait long.

The whole approach at the clinic was excellent with all personnel acting calmly, kindly and very professionally. Fortunately, for me it was a false alarm but I was very impressed with the whole service and wanted to thank all involved for the way a stressful situation was handled.

Well done to all concerned!
