"Can't get an appointment at my doctor's"

I require an appointment to see my GP as I do have a health issue with my breast. I can't get an appointment.

My surgery releases appointments for Monday on Friday. You have to call Monday morning along with their other 6,000 patients (apparently) to try to get an appointment for that week. You can't get through on the telephone as its always busy with others trying to book appointments.

I have been trying for a month now to get an appointment to no avail. I'm happy to book in advance but because of their policy I'm not allowed. Even trying to get in to get a smear test is impossible.

I can't believe the system is that overloaded that I cannot get an appointment and the few times I do I required to wait 90 mins to see the doctor.
