"Midwife was rude and condescending"

I had my first antenatal booking appointment with a midwife this week. She was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional from start to finish. She did not introduce herself, collapsed my vein while drawing blood, rolled her eyes at me when I asked simple questions (i.e. vitamin recommendations, exercise information, etc) and the list could go on. As this is my first pregnancy, I am sometimes nervous about silly things and was looking forward to this appointment to put my mind at ease. Unfortunately she left me feeling upset and more anxious than when I went in. I don't understand how this could possibly be acceptable.
