I had been referred for day surgery by my consultant and all the pre-op staff were so nice, explained everything and calmed any nerves. Unfortunately I had a bad reaction to all the painkillers and instead of going home they advised me to stay overnight. The surgeon even visited me late that night and the following day to check up on me.

It was very kind of you to compliment the staff as it is always good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff.

We were reassured to read that you felt that the staff explained everything to you and calmed your nerves as we appreciate that patient’s anxieties often increase when they are admitted into hospital.

I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the staff involved in your care at the Manchester Orthopaedic Centre and they were very happy to receive them.
