"The treatment I received was very good"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary / Neurology

(as the patient),

I was admitted for my complaint fairly soon after my assessment. The admission was rather slow, as my arrival had not been noted and passed on to the admission staff. I had to wait with my wife for about 2 hours and needed to remind staff that we were there.

The treatment I received was very good, kind, thoughtful and was kept informed. The nursing and other staff were excellent. Food fine.

The discharge was disappointing and seemed very long winded as all my assessments were finished by mid-day but not discharged (mainly by waiting for medication for 4 hours) until about 6pm.

But overall hopefully a satisfactory outcome.
