"in awe of the staff."

I was recently rushed into hospital and required urgent surgery. Everything (including the negatives) was fully explained to me and I was involved in all the decision making process. My surgeon was wonderful and so kind. Following surgery I needed constant nursing care: the staff on Ward 30 were totally professional, skilled and knowledgeable but it was their empathy, kindness, humour and above all, tolerance which impressed me! All the staff on Ward 30 (consultants, doctors, surgeons, nursing staff, carers, clearers, everyone) all do a magnificent job and I cannot thank them enough. I think it would be safe to say that without them I wouldn’t be here today.
