We were admitted to hospital a week ago last Saturday. My 6 year old was very poorly, it was thought to be appendicitis but it turned out not to be. We stayed for a week whilst he recovered and I cannot fault the staff. The nurses were dedicated and caring and the doctors were all perplexed with my son's symptoms but strived hard to find out what was wrong with him. The doctor and his team were very kind, visiting every day and reassuring us. The cleaning staff were friendly and the teachers and play therapist couldn't have done more to engage my son when he was feeling better. I cannot understand why anyone would complain. Everyone is working so hard under immense pressure and doing a really good job. Well done to everyone on PDU and Ward 3 and thank you so much for your unstinting care of my son.
"Wonderful and compassionate care"
