"I cannot praise the staff enough"

I spent a day in A & E yesterday. I 'phoned 999 at about half eight in the morning, the para medic in the car was here in minutes and the ambulance came a few minutes later. All the ambulance staff were most friendly and caring. I was admitted almost immediately, was seen by a doctor within a short time, all tests done, including X-ray. The doctor discussed the situation with me and said I was being referred to the medical team. A young doctor saw me in the afternoon, discussed what was happening and said the consultant would be round to see me later. When she arrived she again discussed my case and said she was referring me to a cardiologist and that I could stay in overnight and possibly see a specialist the next day or I could go home and she would do the referring. I chose to go home. She would not let me go until I had done some walking without pain. I reported back after a walk and she sent me off again, asking if anybody was with me, on being told no, she sent her colleague off to check on me! She made sure I had a spray with me before I left. Considering how busy they were, I cannot praise the staff enough for the way they looked after me, from the paramedics, the nurses, the ancillary staff and the medical staff all went out of their way to make a stressful occasion as easy as possible.
