My nan was brought into Russells Hall just after new year. At first no one seemed to bother with her, just left her there all day and did't seem to atempt to find out what was wrong with her. After waiting for about a month, we found out that she had cancer. They said that they were not going to operate and didn't give us a reason why.
Some of the staff were lovely and really took care of my nan but I found some of them were rude and didn't seem to give a damm. They left her in a room on her own all day without a drink! There was blood on the floor for weeks before any one bothered to clean it up.
Sadly my nan has now passed on but i will never forget the way she was treated during the last few months of her life.
