"Thank you for all the medical care"

About: Westmorland General Hospital / Nephrology

(as the patient),

I was taken to Lancaster Royal Infirmary with stomach pains in the kidney area. I deteriorated and ended up in intensive care for approximately 2 days. I improved and was transferred back to the ward and continued to improve as I no longer was relying on oxygen and catheter etc. I transferred to Kendal whilst social services, short term intervention team assessed my situation and requirements for enabling m to return to my home. I received good care and treatment from the nurses and couldn’t wait to be released from hospital to return to my own home. Thank you for all the medical care and treatment I have received whilst I hospital.

Thank you for your posting. I am very grateful to you for taking the time to feedback your experience.

I was very pleased to read your comments about the good care and treatment you received and that the various services worked well together to support your discharge home. I will take great pleasure in feeding back your comments to all members of the team.

Thank you again for your supportive feedback.

Best wishes,

Graeme
