"results..... waiting.... waiting....... waiting"

Excellent service by nurses and consultants during my visits to gynecology, however I have been twice for colposcopy and one biopsy and each time I have been told my results would be around 4-5 weeks and its been more like 10 weeks upwards, I have telephoned each time and have been told that the long and short of it is they do not have the typists to type the results and its only getting worse not better. I visited in early December and am still awaiting my results its around 9 weeks now. This is shocking and inexcusable to put us through these unnecessary waits, I have telephoned in the last two weeks and was told my results would be pulled out but nothing still. Isn't it about time this was finally addressed as it has been the same for 2 or 3 years and being told its getting worse is not on. I only hope my results are okay as surely this doesn,t help peoples chances, I wish I could afford to go private!
