Arriving in a state of apprehension following an angina attack I was met with polite, patient and professional staff who put me at my ease before carrying out various tests. The two nurses who particularly dealt with me did so with a sense of humour and professionalism which assisted my recovery but also dealt with my condition. Throughout the A&E Department there was a general air of quiet efficiency when dealing with all patients while I was there creating a subliminal reassurance to all.
