I had been sick and had diarrhoea during the day. During the evening I experienced a lot of pain in my upper chest. I decided to ring 111. After initial contact I was passed on to a very friendly person who was thorough in her questioning and gave me good advice. She said that a doctor would ring back to confirm a diagnosis.
The doctor did ring back after about half an hour. He was not as personable as the previous person but did confirm I had Gastroenteritis and gave me good advice.
Overall I was pleased with the attention I received through this service.
