"Q&A Shambles."

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Arrived A&E 10.50 am left hospital 5.35 pm total sustenance 1 small cup of tea. 82 years old so too old to feed and water. Administration of the dark ages No use made of medical records even though I am receiving treatment in several departments of this white elephant. Alternative blood thinning tablets have no antidote. Already noted in my notes has useless for me no compression stocking mentioned although they standard NHS treatment. Why not? Standard procedures blood pressure etc. asked for by three different people in first hour what a waste of money! Overall performance minus ten!!

Thank you for writing in to us. We are so sorry to learn that your recent Emergency Department admission was not as you would have hoped for. If you would like to discuss this further with us then please contact our PALS Team at PHT.Pals@porthosp.nhs.uk or via their free phone on 0800 917 6039 as they would be more than happy to have a chat with you regarding your concerns. Kindest Regards Leanne Complaints Officer
