"No attempt has been made to make the surface safe for pedestrians "

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

I attended the department of rheumatology due to suffering from polymyalgia rheumatica. The best thing about my treatment is that my health has improved. Although less time between visits could have been better. I was not made to feel embarrassed at any point.

However, the car park is too expensive. No attempt has been made to make the surface safe for pedestrians and no (very little) pedestrian routes marked out. With only a little rain the surface becomes water logged. The car park staff are sullen and unfriendly. The charges should be reassessed given that the physical state of the ground is bad an unsafe. The distance from the park to the clinic 10-15 minutes walk adds to the time charged and it is not possible to estimate accurately the time spent in hospital. One needs to over estimate the time required so as to avoid anxiety over incurring penalties. I would like to see published the budget for the car parks.
