Thank you to all the staff for their great care and efficiency when my husband needed emergency surgery for a detached retina. People are too quick to moan about the NHS but we couldn't have asked for more. Although we had to wait several hours on each appointment day, we expected it. We were just so pleased that his eye was treated so quickly from the moment we noticed the problem. It was reassuring that he saw the doctor on the Monday and then the same doctor operated the next day. This may have been luck on our part, but it gave us a good feeling of continuity and confidence in the whole experience. Thank you :)
