Having suffered a heart attack earlier this month I was taken by ambulance to Wythenshawe hospital. From the moment I arrived at this hospital to the moment I left I was treated with kindness compassion and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone who was involved with my care. I was treated as soon as I arrived at this hospital.I was rushed through to resuscitation and diagnosed with speed and accuracy. I was then rushed through to the treatment area and prepared for my procedure. After my procedure I was taken to the Coronary Care Unit. The staff on the coronary care unit were wonderful from the nurse's to the doctors to the domestic staff everyone was concerned that my needs were met. I received first class treatment in and felt involved in decisions concerning my treatment and my health. I have been a frequent visitor to this hospital over the years for one reason or another and have always been treated well. This time however I felt that I just had to praise both the staff and the hospital for the high standards of care and consideration shown to both myself and my family in what was life threatening situation.
"The heart of the matter."
