"Day case surgery"

My sister had to come to Bristol from Cornwall for an operation as a day patient. From the moment we entered this huge busy hospital we were treated with incredible friendly efficiency.Friendly may seem like an odd word to use but this was the attitude of everyone we met and the whole day went extremely efficiently.As you can imagine this was quite an anxious experience for us and so the attitude of the staff and the atmosphere of the place was very important. We could not have been treated better if we were paying millions of pounds. The staff on the neurological department were wonderful as was the young woman in the cashiers office on the ground floor who did not even become impatient when silly old ladies had to hunt for a train ticket. A very definite five star award to all concerned,,
