"Left doesn't know what right is doing"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

I've been under this hospital since 2009 and during this time I've had a number of surgeries. I can't fault the nursing staff nor consultant they really have been fantastic! And I can't praise Jasmine suite enough for the care they have given me over the years. Just a pity the same can't be said for the admin staff! My consultant agreed to list me for will hopefully be my last surgery even though he knew I'd only be free to have this surgery later this year, I've since been advised by admin that he's wrong, I can't stay on the list if I'm not immediately available but not only that I now have to go back to my GP to be referred right back to clinic! Right doesn't know what left is doing! Also the staff really do need a lesson in telephone manner, I found the attitude not particularly nice. I was advised I'd rearranged an appointed 3 times when in actual fact I've rearrange one appointed in 6 years! (Despite them rearranging more than I can remember) which is of course acceptable it would seem. In any event it's taken me almost 10 years to get to this point and now thanks to mis management I'm right back at square one so thank you!
