Part 2... This is a continuation from my previous review. I waited 2 hours in agony to be seen, after enquiring how long the wait would be I was told I'd be next.. I wasn't! 40 min later I was called. The nurse dealing with me was very professional and very polite and thorough, she was shocked I'd been sent home to walk and was quite surprised how much my knee had swollen. I was seen by doctors this time which was reassuring and it turns out I have severe swelling due to my blood thinner medication (informed nurse in first visit who didn't pick this up) I was given anti inflam etc and sent home with crutches and knee brace and told to use knee gently. I have been doing this and every time I try my knee collapses, I'm in agony and it swells further. No one had looked at tendons to see if ACL or LCL are ruptured. I am a qualified first aider and aware of knee anatomy. I am now going to pay to seek private care as NHS have failed me and sent me home immobilised with a clotting disorder and no advise but to use knee which is exasperating things a lot. The A&E area is dirty and the builders were happily banging aware and swearing behind the temp wall so everyone could hear there vulgaritiies and joking about the explicit acts they'd do to one of the nurses! Reception staff very poor attitude Nursing staff inside were lovely (the one I saw)
