"Horrendous attitude of dentist in Chester"

I wanted to share the experience of the awful way I was treated by a dentist at a private Dental Practice in Chester.

His attitude was rude, aggressive and confrontational. I'm honestly not exagerrating either - I didn't even get into the dentist's chair - I was only a few steps in the room and he shouted at me "don't you bother going any further," accused me of being a time waster, but I really had no idea what the heck he was talking about.

He said something about me missing an earlier appointment - but I had never made an earlier appointment.

He really went to town on me which was so unnecessary and unprofessional - and in my view, a bully. I really would not recommend this dental practice to anybody.

I made a complaint to Western Cheshire PCT via PALS and they said they "would keep it on file" - not sure that would really achieve much. I actually burst into tears when I went back to the reception, the receptionist was nice enough and even gave me some tissues, I was just in complete shock at the way I had just been shouted at and had a verbal confrontation when I thought I was only nipping to the dentist in my lunch break for a quick check up.

If I had been a bloke I bet he wouldn't have been so aggressive, but that's exactly what a bully is, isn't it?
