I had to rush my son to A&E last Saturday morning, my son had his hand caught in a door, which fractured his finger and was a very nasty injury. He is on Aspirin and has an underlying condition. He was seen swiftly and the whole service from reception, through to triage through to the actual treatment was really good, as was the advice given and subsequent follow up appointments to keep an eye on quite a nasty injury. Thank to everybody involved it was really painful and everybody helped him as quickly as possible including getting the xray out of the way. I was also pleased that the nurse practitioner involved had bothered to notice the underlying Antiphospholipid Syndrome, and also the history of Cellulitis. Thanks guys.
"visit to A&E last Saturday plus follow up..."
