"Extremely disappointed with the staff"

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

I am so unhappy with service I received from Bham womens. Its taken them 3 years to tell me I have to fund my treatment which I am fine with but even as a paying patient the nurses and receptionists are vile people. I was made to feel that having a fertility issue was my own problem and the lack of support or care was disgusting. To think that these women work in a field where people like me come as it is there last hope and to be treated in such a manner is beyond me. I have been left in tears because of of some of the receptions who have never known how to smile since my first appointment 3 years ago. Never welcoming, always rude and unhelpful. Always moody and always speak in a fed up tone like your keeping them away from something more important. I can appreciate we all have bad days but my experience has been the same since day 1...rude rude rude! I would never in a million years recommend anyone to the Birmingham Womens for fertility treatment
