"The Nightingale Centre"

I cannot praise highly enough the care, skill and attention I have received from the staff at the Nightingale Centre. From attending for initial consultation through follow up treatment and advice everyone I have met has been superb! The care is collaborative and second to none. On my initial visit I saw the Doctor, had mammograms and scans and finally biopsies done all in 5 hours!! This meant when I returned the following week all results were available and a plan for surgery could be made. I was even consulted on whether or not I minded being changed to a different Surgeon as my original one couldn't do the operation for 6 weeks. The breast care nurse supported me through the shock of the results to the options for surgery and latterly my concerns post chemotherapy. My surgeon was/is excellent and has done a superb job with my LD reconstruction. My transfer to Chrisities was seamless for Chemotherapy and through my 5 months of treatment there I have still had access to the team at the nightingale for support and advice. I would definitely recommend the Nightingale Centre to anyone who needs breast cancer services. All staff should be extremely proud of their work and the service they provide.
