My wife was admitted recently, starting in A & E, then moved to Intensive Care, then to Gynaecology ward G5, then to ward 27 & back to G5. Cancer with complications had been diagnosed. Treatment is on-going, consultations, chemotherapy & more. I receive long term treatment in Neurology & Urology departments. ( Hope they never get them mixed up!( My mother in law received treatment in many departments & died as an inpatient. Through all this involvement we have been treated with respect, dignity, compassion & understanding. We have been treated well throughout & consider ourselves lucky to be served by DRI.
