"Treatment was very good in both hospitals"

About: Barnsley Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Neurology

(as the patient),

I am writing about two operations I had on separate occasions. Firstly at Barnsley District General Hospital last year I had a knee replacement in both legs. Then this year I had neuro-surgery at the Royal Hallamshire due to pressure on my spine. At the Hallamshire I stayed on ward 34. Both operations were cancelled at short notice but then the actual surgery and treatment was very good in both hospitals. The follow ups seemed a little too long at times and had to be chased by patients. But as I have said, the actual in patient time spent was very good. I have only praise and faith in the speed and follow up provided by my GP Dr Mistry and his staff. Well done.
