"Very Efficient compared to Northampton"

I am going to ask my GP to refer me back to Luton, even through I have moved to Northampton. It's well worth the drive for me having experienced Northampton General Hospital. My experience with L&D has always been good, good communications e.g. if appointments have to be moved, efficient outpatient care (though wait time for blood tests can be very long), caring and compassionate staff and a great doctor (I have only been to one doctor there so cant make broader comment) who is always willing to take time to explain things to me At Northampton I am being treated by a consultant who seems to know nothing about my condition, his secretary is disorganised, never answers phones. When you have a Chronic condition that is not good enough. Looking forward to returning to L&D even if it will mean a long drive.
