I was referred to the outpatients physiotherapy department at the Livingstone Hospital, Dartford by my GP following a neck x-ray which showed some age- related arthritic degeneration. This had been causing me considerable discomfort, some pain and I had been experiencing some difficulty in moving my head. The young physio to whom I had been assigned gave me some excellent advice on managing the condition. He also did a little massage on the area during each of the half dozen or so sessions the service was able to allocate to me. Since the final appointment , I have had absolutely no pain, discomfort or difficulty in moving my head. I am delighted to be able to report this and would like to thank and commend the young man who helped me. At all times, he behaved in a professional and friendly manner; he is knowledgable and competent and deserves to do welling his chosen profession.
