"treatment plan without even being seen?"

My gp referred me back to rheumatology with severe hip and back pain in June i recieved a letter a few weeks later saying i would get physio? In december i rang and asked why i hadnt received an appointment and why i was being sent to physio without being seen first maybe there so good they can read your referral and guess whats up!! They admitted they should have seen me but then said without a shread of compassion and no attempt to rectify the problem yes its our mistake but your go will have to refer you again so basically waiting since june to see someone who sounds clueless . Oh and my gp thoughtfully did an mri showed modic changes..... Didnt know the nhs recommened intensive physio thought it made it worse ... Antibiotic mast unless you go to the treatment centre
