I have a long-standing foot problem which I have had for the last 8-10 years. The care from Locala for my foot has been fine, but I did want to give some particular feedback. I have felt under pressure on several occasions to say how good the care has been. I have found this pressure rather intimidating. I have had this from a few podiatrists and this has made me feel uncomfortable. This has happened a few times over the last year.

We are really sorry to hear that you have felt pressurised into giving feedback, please can we say it would never be our intention to make you feel that way.

Within Podiatry and Locala as a whole we are really keen to hear about patient experiences, we want to listen and we want to improve our services. One of the ways we gather that information is through using the Friends & Family Test and the independent website Patient Opinion.

The post you have left has is really valuable, it has prompted us as a service to look at how we promote patient feedback as a whole, including Patient Opinion.
