I called 111 when My mother was not well. An initial call to her GP routed me to the 111 service as the surgery was closed. I was referred to a doctor by the operator who in turn said a doctor would come round to see my mum at home.
This GP checked my mother and called for an ambulance to take my mother to St Hellier’s Hospital for further treatment. Sadly my mother passed away.
The 111 service was really good.
