I spent most of December in The RNOH following spinal surgery. The care I received was excellent, all the more so as the state of the building was amazing - slopes in all directions.
During my stay I (unintentially) tested one nursing assitant twice by messing his clothes. He still was prepared to help me when I needed it.
I was lucky in that most of the time I shared a room with some great youngsters who had far greater problems than I had, and set me an fine example.
The food got a little boring after three weeks - but that's the worst I can say about my care.
On return home I received good care in East Surrey. Yes - the NHS is wonderful.
Thank you.
