"How does Arrowe Park ensure elderly patients are supported?"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

(as a relative),

I would like to find out what Arrowe Parks policy is on assisting patients who are unable to feed themselves or possibly to hold a beaker to obtain fluids? I have witnessed numerous occasions where patients food and cups of tea are left untouched. Might this mean that the patient is not receiving sufficient, if any nutrition or fluids? I think a red tray system for vulnerable patients is operated in hospitals, but have not seen any evidence that this operates here in Arrowe Park. I have seen posters regarding elderly abuse on the ward and one of these posters mentions about "someone wondering whether they will get lunch today". How is this prevented?
