"Still waiting for a follow up appointment"

I had an appointment with a consultant on 24th April at The Princess Royal Hospital as I have a digestive disease. The doctor made me feel comfortable to open up about my medical problem. Although he thought the solution was to give me an endoscopy fairly soon, but our holiday had already been booked for the end of May. June was suggested as a possibility. Since nothing more was heard, I telephoned the secretary who referred me to book an appointment through the Booking Team on 01273339033. When she checked my file, we realised that some how I had been missed out. On telephoning the Booking Team, my telephone number was taken so that I could be followed up. I have been waiting but have heard nothing. I would like to have something done to know if anything more concrete should be done, following my initial assessment by the consultant.
