(as a parent/guardian),

I had to take my grandson to Medway Hospital on Sunday due to dog bite. I did not realise there is now a separate A & E for children so I packed food, books, drinks etc expecting a long wait in the ordinary one.

What a brilliant idea to have a separate one for kids, the area is specifically designed for children, the staff are excellent and the service prompt and professional, the staff were very friendly and caring.

Well done to the staff and management of Medway Hospital, and thank you.

I was pleased to read that you found the new separate childrens Emergency Department a very professional and prompt service designed around the unique needs of children. This was part of our vision moving forward and the feedback we received from patients and carers about the design and layout.

The staff will be pleased to read your positive comments about their professionalism, friendliness and caring attitude.
