"My mother's appointment at a memory clinic"

About: Cognition and mental health in aging

(as a relative),

We arrived at Reception where we checked in. We were almost immediately requested to walk through to the clinic.

We had to wait about 20 minutes past the appointment time to see the Dementia Clinic Nurse.

The appointment went well, the nurse took a lot of interest in Mum (who is 91) and made her feel important, and I think she enjoyed the appointment.

Back at Reception, we asked if we might wait inside (it was a cold day) for our cab to arrive, which was agreed without hesitation.
