Had my varicose veins (left leg) removed yesterday and I cannot speak more highly about the staff, they were ALL pleasant, helpful, supportive (and stockings) and professional. I have nothing but praise for Bishop Auckland Hospital, the staff are wonderful, the hospital is immaculate and will return there with confidence. Also give praise to Shotley Bridge Hospital and University Hospital Durham as all have had a part in my assessment and treatment. Thank you and I look forward to having varicose veins removed from other leg soon. Shirley Gardiner Hebburn
