"Operation canceled"

Got to gate 40 at the time I had been told 7-00am only to be told your not on the list ! Had to wait until this was confirmed at 7-45 I had been told by pre op assessment that I was to have my operation on the Friday 30th Jan this had been written on my forms by pre op assement nurse. I never received anything from the hospital but as I had been given date and time to attend I did not think any more about it. The stress of getting prepared for an operation only to be told your not on the list is not good. I am still on a very restricted diet have quite a bit of pain and am worried that the longer I wait I will end up with another infection thus possibly resulting in another emergency visit to hospital with a in patient stay is not good. How long willi have to wait? Who can I contact ?
