Very happy with my experience for CAT scan. Staff kind and helpful.was a bit concerned that the needed blood test was not picked up till the day before! However I live fairly nearby.the clinical care is excellent . The hospital is well aware of the difficulties of car parking which can be very stressful for patients .more information about retail provision (drinks availabity at awkward times and location of cafes ) would be appreciated. Is there a shop for emergency supplles for newly admitted patients? Thanks to all the staff who work so hard for us.

Many thanks for posting your comments on the NHS Choices website. We do have a shop on the main entrance corridor that stock some items of use for people who are newly admitted such as toothpaste, soap, shower gel and such. There is also a bedside booklet provided for each patient that has information such as the location of restaurants and shops, car parking along with other information helpful to patients and visitors.
