Daughter came to a&e on jan28th 2015 with acute back pain following advice to attend by gp.Although we waited a fairly long time to see a doctor the service provided by the female consultant who we did eventually see was outstanding.The treatment involved an overnight stay in a small ward attached to the emergency department followed by a scan .The views provided by the media may portray disarray and chaos within the Nhs but the care and service was there for us when we needed it .Again many thanks to the wonderful consultant.
