"Cataract operation."

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital

I was diagnosed with cataracts and other eye problems which were all completley unexpected and a huge shock. I can't put into words how nervous I was about the idea of anyone operating on both my eyes. My first operation was performed on 8th January and the second eye was operated upon on the 22nd January. Every member of the team were totally professional, kind and caring. I am unable to thank them all personally so I am hoping this message is passed through to them. My surgery has been wonderful, with my stronger eye I can now read the bottom line on the eye chart. The only discomfort I experienced was removing the tape from my eye patch in the morning and ladies the worst part is no make up for some weeks! Don't scroll the internet looking at incorrect information. All you need to know will be explained to you by the surgeon and his team. My heart felt thanks to them all.

Hi there, that's really wonderful feedback! Your comments have certainly been passed back to the teams, who will very much appreciate your kind praise. Best wishes, Sarah Mainprize
