"Excellent Staff"

Very impressed with the Day Ward system. From meeting the Receptionist and named nurse until the evening discharge I was well informed about what was happening. The anaesthetists were great, even if the worst part of the day was a sore throat due to them ! I had a lovely surgeon who decided my belly button was in the right place to have key hole surgery on my hernia. From memory, I think this has been less painful than my previous conventional surgery, even though that was a double side operation. Considering how many other patients went to the operating theatre that day, I guess that whole team must be really well organised. I quite like the idea of patients walking to the theatre and it was the only useful thing I did all that day. Well done everybody (including after care from my wife) and thanks. Brian H
