"my care on Ward 20 room 27 bed 5"

i have searched your website to try to find a website that will allow me to pass on to the CEO a truthful and objective summary of my feelings and reactions after two separate admissions within a month. I was admitted 27/11/14 with pneumonia eventually finshing up on ward 20 room 24 where I was given superb care by all the staff there particularly one outstanding nurse who was never too busy to re-assura and help me when I was fighting for every breath. two weeks later I was discharged home with back up from the PERT Team.I didn't improve and went from bad to worse (no fault on Pert) and on 10th January iwas re-admitted as an emergency by the Pert team. I was diagnosed with bi-lateral pneumonia and was extremely poorly. I was moved ,thank god, to ward 20 room 27 where I came under the expwert care of the nursing team and there I stayed for 11 days. During that very traumatic time the nursing staff and ancilliaries were all superb But standing out like a Beacon was one nurse who seemed to know instinctively what was neede to help me breathe etc.She always allowed me to retain my dignity even wwhen diarrohea got the better of me,always positive and putting my mind at rest when I was experiencing rapid drops into negativity in short giving the will to live'. As a role model she is your best resource passing her knowledge on in a realistic manner to her younger colleagues and the eager students . She epitomises all the best traits of the NHS and nursing in general and would ask you ,if you have an award for meritorious service then this nurse be considered for such an award. in conclusion I have never met this nurse prior to being admitted and base my above remarks on my observations.
