"Diabetic eye screening"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

My husband had an appointment at the diabetic eye clinic. He made a mistake in the date , arriving a day late but the staff were fantastic. They called him for a private word thus protecting his dignity to point out that he had arrived on the wrong date but said that they would fit him in . Overall we were there for less than an hour which we felt was very good. The optician was very kind to the older patients , helping them to their feet and with wheel chairs. The atmosphere was friendly and efficient. As we were leaving staff were cleaning the chairs in the waiting room.
