I had to visit plastics on the 11 floor after badly injuring two fingers on my right hand, I was received with care and compassion from the staff and treated with respect, I would like to single out one particular nurse who put me at such ease and helped me though the difficult task of getting my bandages off , a true professional, Bless you. Also being as my injury was so severe I was referred the plastic day centre for an operation on my hand again there I was received with care and courtesy and put at ease, the staff there were just wonderful, meeting the surgeon I cannot speak more highly of his calming bedside manner when he explained to me what the procedure was going to be was so assuring, once in the operating theatre again I was put at ease by professional staff , The surgeon again put me at ease during the procedure, the piped Disney music in the theatre also added to the calmness . Thank you Lister Hospital, my experience of plastics was second to none and I am only to pleased to endorse this department
