"Cardioversion"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

Impressed! Hardly a good enough word! I joked with friends that I was going in to Eastbourne Hospital Cardio unit for them to attach 'jump leads' to my body as my heart rhythm was irregular. It was rather more complicated than that! During my appointment i was treated with utmost respect and friendliness, made to feel at ease and welcomed by a group of ladies to be well admired for the 'Teamwork' they displayed, which in itself made me feel confident and comfortable with what was about to be administered. At all times details of the treatment were explained in great detail and in simple terms. Efficiently my treatment went without problems and after quite a long process my heart rhythm is back to normal. An experience when a simple 'Thank-you' seems inadequate. Your service dear people I offer my grateful appreciation.
