"Inadequate Care"

My father was admitted to Gade Ward in April 2014 for investigations to discover the causes of his widespread chest and back pain. Two weeks later he was discharged with no progress having been made. During his stay on the ward he repeatedly complained to the nurses. After his discharge it was discovered that he had a fractured sternum. The hospital also missed the fact that my father had multiple myeloma – less than a month later this was finally diagnosed. My father died in November.
