"No appointments at health centre"

So this is the second time I'm posting about this problem. I can't get an appointment at my local health centre for weeks! !

The reception keeps telling me to pop in tomorrow. Every time. If you can't give me an appointment why tell me to come in tomorrow.

Do you not realise I work and have to earn a living to feed my family. I don't have time to play this game! Give me an appointment when I ask for one! ! !

I demand satisfaction and change. This is beyond belief! Your patients shouldn't be but though this. I'm sorry if this inconveniences you but at the end of the day this is your job!

Do something about it and stop treating me like I am something you stepped in.

Previously I used the example of tonsillitis. But my condition is more severe I was trying to be a little more subtle in my last message.

I need a doctor. Without weeks or months in between! ! ! I personally feel you are failing in your duty of care!

Dear Patient

I have been in touch with the practice concerned and they have provided this reponse to your concern about getting an appointment:

I’m sorry that you are experiencing difficulties with booking an appointment.

Both practices release a selection of routine appointments each day for the following day and up to 10 days. We have been experiencing some issues with the availability of routine appointments due to the short term absence of GPs. This issue is now resolving but may have been why you had to wait for an appointment.

You do not mention if you were directed to our Unscheduled Care Service. This service is available if you feel you need to be seen. Most patients are seen in this area after a short wait.

Please contact us at the practice if you feel we haven’t fully answered your complaint.
