In October 2008 I had to ring for an ambulance as I had an emergency abdominal aortic aneurysm. The doctors decided what the problem was after I had received a scan. I received specialist treatment and an operation to correct the problem. The recovery from the operation was long but I did have problems with the after care. However, I was in the right place at the right time with a good dedicated staff looking after me. Many thanks to everyone.
