"First Class treatment"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

Late Sunday evening 25th January my wife appeared to have a seizure of sorts at home in Tunbridge Wells. A paramedic arrived within a minute or two and following extensive tests the patient decided to visit A&E in Pembury. An ambulance arrived within minutes of the call. The ambulance staff were pleasant and efficient and conveyed the patient to A&E where tests were carried out promptly and with care. Fortunately treatment allowed for full recovery and, after about three hours, the patient was able to return home. Hospital visits are not the most pleasant of experiences but thank goodness Pembury A&E was to hand.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the ambulance service and our hospital and for your positive comments. It is always a boost to staff moral when their hard work and professionalism is recognised. Your compliments will be much appreciated by the staff in our Emergency Department who often work under difficult circumstances. I hope that your wife is now recovering well. With Kind Regards the PALS team.
